You can create QR codes and short links for free, forever — our growth engine, not a trial. You upgrade to Business when you need to manage, optimize and scale them: dynamic QR, smart routing, analytics, branded domains and team control.

API usage & overage

Business API includes 100,000 calls / month. Beyond that you pay only for what you use — 2 MDL / 1,000 (100k–1M), 1.5 MDL (1M–10M), 1 MDL (10M+). Transparent, no lock-in.

Frequently asked questions

Is QRL.md free?
Creating QR codes and short links is free and needs no account. Free links stay active as long as they are scanned: every scan extends the link by another 90 days. Anonymous users can create up to 50 new links per day.
What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?
A static QR always points to the same address and cannot be changed once printed. A dynamic QR points to a QRL.md short link, so the destination can be changed at any time without reprinting the code. Dynamic QR is part of the Business plan.
How much does the Business API cost?
Business API costs 599 MDL per month and includes 100,000 API calls. Above that you pay only for what you use: 2 MDL per 1,000 calls between 100k and 1M, 1.5 MDL between 1M and 10M, and 1 MDL above 10M.
Can I see how many times a QR code was scanned?
Yes. Every scan and click is recorded together with country, device, browser and referrer. Basic analytics are included in the free plan; advanced reports and longer retention come with Business.
Can QRL.md be connected to an ERP or POS system?
Yes. The Business API exposes a REST interface for creating links and QR codes programmatically, plus webhooks for events. It is already used across the Intelectsoft ecosystem for invoices, payments, parking and electronic documents.
